Abstract : Glomerulonephritis is a disease of inflammation on kidney’s glomerulus that is marked by the damage of glomerular capillary wall, increase of membrane permeability, and decrease of glomerular filtration rate. Glomerulonephritis needs to be detected and treated early to minimize kidney damage. Chronic glomerulonephritis can slowly be progressive and periodically cause the loss of kidney function. Oxidative stress and inflammation is known to have a role in the pathogenesis of Acute Glomerulonephritis. Andaliman fruit (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC) is known to have plenty of benefits, namely as antioxidant and anti-inflammation. To determine the effect of andaliman fruit ethanol extract towards measurement of creatine, urea, and kidney histologic structure on mice models with acute glomerulonephritis. Research design is an experimental study using the pretest posttest with control group design method on Streptokinase induced acute glomerulonephritis Rattus norvegicus rat model. This study compares the effect of andaliman fruit ethanol extract on control group and treatment group receiving each the dose of 100 mg/kg/day, 200 mg/kg/day and 300 mg/kg/day. There was a significant difference (p<0.05) creatinine and urea level between groups after given the andaliman fruit ethanol extract on acute glomerulonephritis rat model after 14 days. The most effective change on kidney histologic structure could be seen in a group receiving the dose of 100 mg/kg/day. This study showed the anti-inflammatory activity of andaliman fruit (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC) that could be seen from the improvement of kidney function and histologic structure.

Abstract : The tools of the medical record is an indicator of hospital quality services which is very important for the service process which carried out by medical personnels and affects the hospital quality services. Whether it is good or bad, health services at hospital will be reflected in the tools of medical record. This study used mixed methods with sequential explanatory approach. The sampling technique was probability sampling with Simple random sampling technique. The sample in quantitative research was 97 medical personnels and 6 research informants. Quantitative research showed that there was correlation among Knowledge (p=0.021), Motivation (p=0.003), and Work procedure (p=0.010) to the tools of to fulfill medical record for inpatient care patients with Covid-19. Meanwhile, Working time (p=0.611) and supervision (p=0.412) had no correlation. The results of qualitative research concluded that from the results of interview with 6 respondents, the understanding about medical record was very good but this understanding was not in line with the available evidence. There are still many findings of medical record documents that are found incomplete, especially on medical resume forms and cppt. From five variables, only knowledge, motivation, and work procedure associated with the tools of the medical record documents for Covid-19 patients. It is hoped that the hospital management can evaluate and monitor medical personnels who work to complete medical record documents by conducting regular meeting with related units as well as the Hospital to be able to implement electronic medical record according to Minister of Health Regulation No 24 of 2022.

Journal ID : AMJ-25-01-2023-11141; Author : Anniz Setyowati, Rahayu Indiriasari, Nurhaedar Jafar,
Abstract : One nutritional problem that is prone to occur in adolescents is malnutrition. Underweight or underweight is a condition caused by a lack of energy intake compared to the energy expended. Lack of energy intake or insufficient consumption of essential nutrients the body needs will usually cause a decrease in the activities carried out. This study aims to assess the effect of social cognitive theory-based nutrition education on behavioral aspects related to physical activity in malnourished adolescents in the Makassar City Island area. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group design. Using simple random sampling with a total sample of 82 malnourished adolescents on Kodingareng Island, Barang Caddi Island, Barrang Lompo Island, and Lae-late Island in Makassar City, the intervention group and the control group. The variables in this study were looking at changes in behavioral aspects (knowledge, self-efficacy, motivation) related to physical activity in the intervention group (given nutrition education using modules) and the control group (given infographics) for 12 weeks. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and Mann-Whitney. The results showed that there was a change in knowledge in the intervention group after education (8.09 ± 1.20) with a p-value (0.000), as well as in the control group showing there was a change in knowledge after education (7.58 ± 1.53) with a p-value (0.000). The average change in knowledge did not differ between the two groups, with a p = 0.282. There was a change in self-efficacy in the intervention group after education (53.26 ± 15.55) with a p-value (0.000), as well as in the control group showing a change in self-efficacy after education (47.51 ± 19.84) with a p-value (0.000). There was a big difference in the mean change in self-efficacy between the two groups, with a p = 0.009. There was a change in motivation in the intervention group after education (30.75 ± 4.28) with a p-value (0.000), as well as in the control group showing a change in motivation after education (26.58 ± 6.84) with a p-value (0.000). There was a big difference in the average change in motivation between the two groups, with a p = 0.000. There was a change in physical activity behavior in the intervention group after education (1.434±0.134) with a p-value (0.000), as well as in the control group showing changes in physical activity behavior after education (525.63±133.59) with a p-value (0.000). There was a difference in the average change in physical activity behavior between the two groups, with a p = 0.011. Researchers conclude that educational interventions have an effect on behavioral aspects (knowledge, self-efficacy, motivation, physical activity behavior) related to physical activity in the intervention and control groups.

Implementation of HIV/Aids Management Policy in the Working Area of the Talise Health Center, Mantikulore District, Palu City.
Journal ID : AMJ-25-01-2023-11140; Author : Sadry Budiawan, Indar, Amran Razak,
Abstract : One problem that has received sufficient attention from the government is HIV and AIDS. Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a collection of disease symptoms caused by a decrease in the human immune system due to infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), which attacks human white blood cells. Based on HIV/AIDS data from program managers at the Palu City Health Office, out of 13 existing Public health centers in Palu city, the highest HIV/AIDS cases were found based on the Public health center in 2021, namely the Talise Puskesmas with 48 people infected with HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure in the implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention policies in the working area of the Talise Health Center, Mantikulore District, Palu City. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that the comic concept was good enough where communication distribution was carried out correctly using counseling, counseling, and mobile VCT methods. However, there are still obstacles in providing information, such as collecting patients to come to counseling. The patient fears being examined and taking samples, then the patients are embarrassed to come for treatment and are too lazy to do a blood sample examination. In the resource variable, the results show that the existing staff is sufficient. It is just that there is only one lab officer, and the funds obtained come from BOK funds and adequate facilities, but the clinic is still combined with the service room. The disposition variable is good enough where the concept of staff appointment has a clear path, and those fully responsible for this program are the head of the health center and the head of the program. In the bureaucratic structure variable, the one with the highest authority is the head of the Public health ce.nter Moreover, the person in charge of the program, and from the viewpoint of other sectors, are very supportive of this program, while the constraints are that patients want to avoid taking part in examinations and attending counseling.
