Journal ID : AMJ-26-02-2023-11257; Author : Mahabat H. Saeed, Srwa A. Mohammedameen, Sameera S. Fatah, Hamdia M. Ahmed, Nazanin O. Mohammed, Maryam Y. Yaseen,
Abstract : This study aimed to examine the attitudes of Kurdish women toward menopause and find out its association with menopausal status and sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics. Direct interviews were done with 912 women in perimenopause/menopause through non-probability convenient sampling from October 2020 to September 2021, aged 30 to 60 years. A questionnaire was created according to the aim of the study and delivered by a team of six trained researchers to women. We found that <1/2 (40%) of participants believed that it was decreased the risk of pregnancy because the possibility of becoming pregnant is eliminated, while 38.3% thought that there was adequate time to undertake religious activities and 34.5% of the women regarded menopause as a good occurrence as they believed that it was a natural event. The percentage of negative attitude among menopausal women were higher than in peri-menopausal women. There was a significant association between attitude toward menopause with menopausal status, residency, religion, husband's age, education, parity, breastfeeding length, gynaecological condition, and age at menarche. Near half of Kurdish menopaused women had a negative attitude regarding menopause. Determining the associated factors with a negative attitude can help health care providers change women's attitudes to positive.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Chatbot for Borderline Personality Disorder Client
Journal ID : AMJ-26-02-2023-11256; Author : Christin Wibhowo, Ridwan Sanjaya,
Abstract : A person with borderline personality disorder (BPD) can live a normal life if they receive appropriate therapy. Dialectical behavior therapy is one of the most effective treatments for reducing BPD criteria in a person. Individuals with BPD are typically aged 18–40 years and are comfortable with the internet. Therefore, Dialectical Behavior Therapy can be performed via a chatbot (DBTC). This study aims to this study aims to create a chatbot application for BPD clients. The hypothesis is that DBTC is useful in lowering Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) scores. This research is divided into two stages. The first stage is to distribute the BPD scale to 56 individuals. Eleven participants with high BPD scale scores (above 80) were chosen to participate in the focus group discussion (FGD). The pretest-posttest design is used in the second stage of this study. Three participants with high BPD scale scores were invited to attempt to ask SoviLau questions regarding everyday difficulties. The next stage is to build a chatbot as a virtual assistant using the SoviLau app. The findings showed that DBTC could reduce BPD symptoms, notably impulsivity, affective instability, inappropriate behavior, and unstable patterns of interpersonal relationships.

Weigted Linear Combination (WLC) Analysis Using GIS in Determining Garbage Landfill on Bunaken Island Using an Environmental Health Approach
Journal ID : AMJ-25-02-2023-11253; Author : Steven R Silalahi, Agus Bintara Birawida, Anwar Daud, Melisa Todingan,
Abstract : Islands in developing countries usually lack access to adequate waste management services, leading to the accumulation of trash in public areas. Coastal environments are susceptible to natural and physical changes that cause environmental degradation, including the presence of waste pollution. The aims of this research was to conduct a feasibility analysis to determine the site of a landfill on Bunaken Island in Manado City. Data will be obtained between August to October 2022 from various primary and secondary sources using the following techniques: maps and population data from related agencies, articles, laws and journals. Allowance analysis using the Weigted Linear Combination (WLC) method by scoring based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 03-3241-1994 with adjustments to island characteristics. Field observation and distribution of questionnaires to anonymous respondents as many as 178 samples by purposive sampling method to see potential health problems using univariate tests. Results the feasibility analysis for opt-outs at 2 feasible zone locations with area 1 (3.40 Ha) and 2 (0.45 Ha), the results of the feasibility analysis for opt-outs were given a score of 168 with a low predicate, the community's positive response to the existence of TPA was 52.25% and 8.43% of respondents suffered from diarrheal disease, waste is not a potential health problem on Bunaken Island. Conclusionto overcome the waste problem by having 2 recommendations for feasible zones with varying areas, implementing the utilization of local waste and marine waste both organic and inorganic from waste sources in the 3R manner before being taken to the landfill.

COMPARISON OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF NUTRITION COUNSELING WITH COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY METHODS AND STANDARDIZED NUTRITION COUNSELING ON PATIENTS' FOOD WASTE AND BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS IN DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS
Journal ID : AMJ-24-02-2023-11250; Author : Emira Tri Silawati, Agung Susanto, Adi Prayitno,
Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Nutrition Counseling with the CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) Method on food waste and blood sugar levels compared to standardized nutrition consultations for DM patients at RSU Islam Klaten. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a cross-sectional approach and a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research was 45 respondents who were divided into three groups, namely the nutrition counseling group using the CBT method, the standardized nutrition counseling group, and the control group. The data analysis test used the Mann Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test because the data were not normally distributed. The research results shownutritional counseling with the CBT method has a significant effect on the patient's food waste. This is evidenced by the results of the different tests before and after the CBT treatment showing a p value of 0.001, and the results of the different tests between groups, both in the CBT method nutrition counseling group compared to standardized nutrition counseling and in the CBT method nutrition counseling group compared to the control group, there was a significant difference with p values of 0.013 and 0.000 respectively less than 0.005.

Guided bone regeneration using xenograft bone substitutes with or without autogenous bone graft in horizontal bone augmentation: Randomized clinical trial
Journal ID : AMJ-23-02-2023-11248; Author : Rabeea Adeeb Alarkan, Suleiman Dayoub, Nabil Kochaji, Mohammad Ali Yousef,
Abstract : This split-mouth randomized clinical trial was designed to evaluate dimensional bone alterations following horizontal ridge augmentation using Xenograft with or without autogenous bone, both associated with A-PRF+ and covered by non-resorbable membrane for the rehabilitation of atrophic anterior sites of the jaws with dental implants. The study enrolled 19 patients with 42 horizontal bone atrophy sites requiring guided bone regeneration (GBR) procedures. The first side of each jaw was randomly received a combination of 70:30 xenograft with particulate xenograft, A-PRF+, and covered by a Ti-d-PTFE membrane, while the parallel side received particulate xenograft alone, A-PRF+, and covered by a Ti-d-PTFE membrane. After nine months of healing, the membranes were removed in a second stage surgery and implants were inserted. Radiographic examination (cone-beam computed tomograms) was performed before the surgery (T0), immediately after bone grafting procedure (T1), and at 9 months (T2), to evaluate the amount of horizontal bone width gain and graft reduction. Nineteen patients completed the study. Both groups developed enough bone ridge width. There was no statistically significant difference in bone gain obtained in the xenograft group when compared to the 70:30 mix group group immediately after surgery (P > 0.05) or at 9 months (P > 0.05). Both groups showed minimal bone reduction nine months post-surgery with no difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). Based on the data from this study, both 70:30 xenograft and autogenous bone graft mix and 100% xenograft showed identical clinical results in the treatment of horizontal bone defects, using the GBR technique. The presence of the autograft in the mixture did not provide any additional benefit in terms of bone gain or reduced graft absorption.
