Abstract : Clinical education is a process of behavior change that occurs in individuals because of a structured or unstructured process. The learning outcomes of clinical educators are prepared for competent clinical educators so that the competence of new nurses can be achieved. The aim of this study is to analyze determine clinical education model based on experiental learning to improve competence of preceptor. This use explanatory research approach carried out on educators clinical in the IHC Hospital environment with multistage sampling technique random sampling a number of 160 respondents. The sampling technique used was multistage random sampling. Analysis of this study using SEM- PLS. The data research instrument in this study was analyzed using Partial Least Square. Clinical education intervention clinical nursing education using experiential learning-based preceptorship methods to improve clinical educator learning outcomes, including clinical educator characteristics (t = 4.070; p < .001), new nurse characteristics (t = 9.493; p < .001), job characteristics (t = 4.021; p < .001), and facility characteristics (t = 2.789; p < 0.001). The research found that Learning Clinical education using experiential learning-based preceptorship methods can improve the competence of clinical educators, including improving critical thinking, patient safety, leadership, communication, research-based practice, and professional development.

Early Childhood Caries Prognosis based on Streptococcus Mutans Count in children: In Vivo Study
Journal ID : AMJ-27-10-2023-11670; Author : Nassouh Malas, Chaza Kouchaji, Hasan Alzoubi,
Abstract : This study aimed to investigate the presence of early childhood caries (ECC) in relation to colony-forming units of Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) among preschooler’s children aged 3–6 years old in Syria. The studied sample consisted of 80 children aged between 3-6 years, they were allocated randomly into two groups: Group 1 (experimental, n=40): S-ECC children, deft ≥ 10, and Group 2 (control n=40): free caries children, deft=0. The dental plaque was collected from all mouth using sterilize toothpick, and the dental plaque samples were then transferred to Eppendorf tubes, then the samples were cultured within an hour on petri dishes containing culture medium (MSBA). After 48 hours, the dishes were taken out of the incubator, and the microbial colonies were counted. The results showed that the mean count of mutans streptococci were 7.8*105 in the S-ECC children group and 2.6*105 in free caries children group with a statistically significant difference (p=0.000). The results also showed that the count 3.5 * 105 can be considered as predictive indicator for incidence of early childhood caries. Streptococcus mutans count may play an important role as a predisposing factor for ECC and increase the risk of ECC incidence.

ANALYSIS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND THE LEVEL OF COMPLIANCE IN THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IN THE BLACKSMITH INDUSTRY IN BAGOANG VILLAGE
Journal ID : AMJ-26-10-2023-11668; Author : Edwina Rudyarti, Muhammad Husain As-Sajjad, Hany Alya Tsabita,
Abstract : Occupational safety in small industries is something that must be considered, because many workers experience work accidents due to poor work attitudes such as not using personal protective equipment to avoid the risk of work accidents. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between knowledge of personal protective equipment and the level of compliance in using personal protective equipment to reduce the risk of work accidents in the blacksmith industry. The sample in this study were all blacksmith workers in Bagoang Village, Jasinga District, Bogor Regency with a total sampling of 32 respondents, all of whom were machete craftsmen. This research method is a type of quantitative research, using a Cross Sectional design, with Chi Square test data analysis with a 95% confidence level there is a relationship between knowledge of personal protective equipment and adherence to the use of personal protective equipment with a p value = 0.03. The results showed a significant correlation between knowledge of personal protective equipment and adherence to the use of personal protective equipment at work, where knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment made a significant contribution, namely 19% of workers' knowledge was insufficient, 56% of workers' knowledge was sufficient, while good knowledge contributes 25%, The conclusion obtained is that there is a significant relationship together with knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment on the incidence of work accidents of ironworkers.

ROFLUMILAST, A novel PDE4 Inhibitor, Inhibits Serum Concentration of Tumour Necrosis Factor –Alpha and Maintains A healthy Joint Architecture in an induced Rheumatoid Arthritis in Rats
Journal ID : AMJ-25-10-2023-11667; Author : Lama Habib, Abdulnaser Omaren, Abdhakim Nattouf,
Abstract : PDE4 is a cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) specific enzyme, which hydrolyses cAMP to AMP and it is the predominant isoenzyme expressed in macrophages, lymphocytes and neutrophils. Elevation of intracellular cAMP, via inhibition of PDE4, triggers the protein kinase pathway which inhibits TNFα production and other cytokines, resulting in suppress the immune response. PDE4 is a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of diverse autoimmune conditions. The present study was carried out to evaluate the anti-arthritic activity of ROFLUMILAST As individual treatments in an induced rheumatoid arthritis in rats.

Enhancing Health Literacy Using the Health Beliefs Model: Benefits in HIV/AIDS Prevention through Virtual Reality Application among Adolescents in Pangkajene and the Islands Regency
Journal ID : AMJ-25-10-2023-11666; Author : Rusli Taher, Muh. Syafar, A. Indahwaty Sidin, Stang, Oedojo Soedirman, Syamsiar S. Russeng, Ridwan Amiruddin, Andi Armyn Nurdin, Darwis,
Abstract : In a rapidly changing era, improving adolescent health literacy, especially in the context of HIV/AIDS prevention, is important. The use of virtual reality applications can help change their perception of risk and precautions. It also meets the needs of teenagers who are increasingly connected to technology in the digital age. This study uses time series non-equivalent control group design. Large samples in the intervention group and control group were 44 people each (a total of 88 people). The sampling technique is carried out by consecutive sampling. Health Literacy questionnaire for prevention of HIV / AIDS with a Virtual Reality-based Health Belief Model (HBM) approach. This study was conducted for approximately 2 months, from June to August 2023. There is an influence of the health literacy model using virtual reality on perceived severity and perceived susceptibility about HIV/AIDS in adolescents in Pangkajene Regency and Islands, as well as an increase in positive perceptions of HBM: the benefit of HIV/AIDS prevention in the intervention group (VR) is higher than in the control group. the positive influence of Health Literacy and VR media in improving perceptions of benefits related to HIV/AIDS prevention among adolescents, which has important implications in changing disease prevention behaviour.
