Abstract : The sports field has become a civilized phenomenon in most countries of the world. sport games have become one of the important criteria to measure how much the countries are developed. Sports physiology has a great and effective role in the sports field. It is concerned with studying the physiology of internal organs and identifying the effects that occur to internal organs and tissues as a result of sports training. This paper tries to identify the functional indicators that lead to the development of the achievement level of 110 hurdlers players. At the same time, consider the functional indicators of player body (heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, respiratory rate (that related to the effectiveness of 110 barriers. The target sample in this study was from Al-Qasim Club players from Iraq, the category of applicants for the season (2021-2022), and their number was (10) players. The statistical program SPSS was used to process the results. The statistical analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between some of functional indicators that used in this work and the achievement. The functional indicators that have a significant relationship with achievement were heart and respiratory rate. While as, the relationship between systolic blood pressure and the achievement was week. The final functional indicator was diastolic blood pressure showed there is no relationship between this indicator and the achievement. There is no doubt the regular exercise improves the level of functional indicators in player's body; thus, this will be reflected on the level of achievement.

The Influence of Flasking Investing Materials and Techniques on Teeth Positioning, Dimensional Change, and Surface Roughness of Complete Denture
Journal ID : AMJ-08-10-2022-10610; Author : Abdullah Jasim Mohammed, Ahmed Asim Al-Ali, Safwan M. Al-Aubadi,
Abstract : Movement of artificial teeth during complete (or implant supported complete over-dentures) may compromise the occlusion of these dentures, and may lead subsequent traumatic occlusion, that may need correction of the occlusion which is unfavorable due to loss of intended balanced occlusion especially when anatomic artificial teeth are used. We aimed to evaluate the effect of three methods of flasking commonly used in dental laboratories, on the artificial teeth position, and, surface roughness in order to find why and when these changes take place during flasking, packing, and curing processes. In this study 45 identical lower complete dentures were constructed by the duplication method, stainless steel bars were placed in the first premolar and first molar on each side of the denture using a surveyor engine device. Five samples were cut off the dentures to measure the surface roughness and, radiographs were taken at three stages of the flasking process. In the first group plaster was used as a second pour; in the second group, a silicon layer was used to the level of the occlusal plane; in the third group, the upper half was filled completely with silicon dough. The angles of the first group significantly changed starting from the flasking stage; the second group showed the least changes, first and the third groups demonstrated the significant higher changes in teeth position. The surface roughness of the first group was significantly higher than in the other two groups. Using a layer of silicon for splitting the waxed denture from the gypsum product considerably decreased the surface roughness and the artificial teeth movement.

Postgraduate Maxillofacial Training from Students’ Perspective
Journal ID : AMJ-08-10-2022-10609; Author : Faaiz Alhamdani, Atheer Talib Jiboon,
Abstract : As a specialty, maxillofacial surgery is considered the meeting point between dentistry and medicine. It is, compared to other medical and surgical field, a relatively new specialty, which has been embraced by ambitious and talented dentists and encouraged by general surgeons. Maxillofacial surgery specialty lies within the crossroad between medicine and dentistry. This gives this field a unique feature, which can be explored using qualitative studies on students’ views on postgraduate students on this specialty. Such studies could provide a better insight into the training challenges, students’ concerns, and thoughts. A qualitative study utilizing focus group discussion in which 9 Iraqi (OMFS) fellowship students. participants were purposively selected to ensure a broad range of experiences. Seven were males and 2 were females. Focus group discussion was held in the meeting venue in Ghazi Alhariri Hospital, Baghdad. The discussion continued for one hour and 47 minutes. Data analysis adopted the Generic qualitative approach. The coded data were organized using the Framework Approach. The constant Comparative Method was sketchily employed to uncover the underlying patterns. Data analysis has regained the following themes; an interest in the field; new professional expertise; the influence of the mentor/ supervisor; a sense of the prospect of professional achievement; impediments; isolated voices; and a sense of disappointment. OMFS training seems to bring a sense of new professional identity to the trainees, due to the wide range of gained expertise and knowledge. This sense helps the students to endorse the training challenge with devotion and conscientiousness. This, however, needs to be complemented with a further refined systematic training approach, which considers different centres and mentors.

Abstract : Identify relationship between the communicable diseases control program and nurses' sociodemographic characterized. Identify relationship between CDC program and their nurses' practices of hand washing. An analytical descriptive study conducted on (200) nurses's working in the communicable diseases unit at AL- Murjan Teaching Hospital, the study tool and questionnaire from period the 2st of January 2022 to 2th of March 2022, samples were taken in an appropriate manner, they were randomly selected. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information to achieve a goal the study, the first section is about personal information sheet, and the second part is the standard hands washing practices about communicable disease program, descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data, which comprised0 [frequencies(f), mean (m), standard deviation(sd.), and inferential statistics for instance chi-square (χ2), which included the variation between two squares test]. The results of the study showed that the majority of the sample members did not participate in the training courses for the communicable diseases of both sexes and they have little knowledge, at a significant level (P ≤ 0.05), with regard to gender, the majority of them are males.
