Comparison between Two Types of Toothpastes Containing Modified Bioactive Glass on post-operative sensitivity associated with at-home vital tooth bleaching: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract : Post-operative sensitivity associated with bleaching is one of the most significant side effects related to tooth bleaching, there were consequently many materials and methods suggested to manage this sensitivity. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of modified bioactive glass (BioMin-F and BioMin-C) on the vital tooth to decrease post-operative sensitivity associated with at-home vital tooth bleaching using 20% Carbamide Peroxide. This study was performed on 30 patients to eval

Prevalence of Multi-Drug Resistant Escherichia coli Implicated in Urinary Tract Infection in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq

Abstract : Escherichia coli is the main cause of urinary tract infection (UTI), with the potential of its multidrug-resistant (MDR) capability. To isolate and identify E. coli implicated in UTIs and to evaluate the prevalence of MDR E. coli with its drug resistance patterns among patients. Four hundred thirty urine samples were collected from patients with UTIs between December 2021 to February 2022. A general urine examination (GUE) was performed to evaluate physical, chemical, and biological parameters.
