The study aimed to identify the determinants of women empowerment based on self- regulated into nutritional practice in stunted children. The study used a cross-sectional design conducted

Comparison between Two Types of Toothpastes Containing Modified Bioactive Glass on post-operative sensitivity associated with at-home vital tooth bleaching: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract : Post-operative sensitivity associated with bleaching is one of the most significant side effects related to tooth bleaching, there were consequently many materials and methods suggested to manage this sensitivity. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of modified bioactive glass (BioMin-F and BioMin-C) on the vital tooth to decrease post-operative sensitivity associated with at-home vital tooth bleaching using 20% Carbamide Peroxide. This study was performed on 30 patients to eval

Prevalence of Multi-Drug Resistant Escherichia coli Implicated in Urinary Tract Infection in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq

Abstract : Escherichia coli is the main cause of urinary tract infection (UTI), with the potential of its multidrug-resistant (MDR) capability. To isolate and identify E. coli implicated in UTIs and to evaluate the prevalence of MDR E. coli with its drug resistance patterns among patients. Four hundred thirty urine samples were collected from patients with UTIs between December 2021 to February 2022. A general urine examination (GUE) was performed to evaluate physical, chemical, and biological parameters.

Based on the qolce-55 measurement of cognitive function, there were four significant indepe

Evaluation The Effect of The Addition of Zirconium Oxide And Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles on shear Bond Strengths of Orthodontic Adhesive: in-vitro study

Abstract : The study aims to assess the shear bond strength of modified- 3M orthodontic adhesive Transbond™ XT with different concentrations of Titanium Dioxide and zirconium oxide nanoparticles. In a retrospective cross-sectional study a hundred sound-extracted human upper premolars were collected. 3M orthodontic adhesive Transbond™ XT was modified by (0,02%, 0.04%, and 0.06% Zirconium Oxide), and (0,02%, 0.04%, and 0.06% Titanium Dioxide) nanoparticles, and (0,02%, 0.04%, and 0.06% Zirconium Oxide an

Assessment of risk factors, clinical profile, complications, and angiographic profile of CAD in young patients: An observational study.

Abstract : Coronary artery disease (CAD) occurring in less than 40 years of age is termed as young CAD. Recent studies show a prevalence of 1.2% of CAD cases in this age group. the present study was undertaken for assessing the profile of CAD in young patients. A total 50 patients of CAD in young patients [age < or = 40 years] were study who were a mix of urban and rural population. Mean age of the patient in our study was 34.6 years. About 62% of our patients reported to have a BMI more than 25 kg/m2. In

The differences in transcranial doppler parameters between premature infants with respiratory distress and without respiratory distress

Abstract : Premature babies are at risk of shortness of breath because their lungs are immature. Asphyxiation due to shortness of breath carries a risk of disruption of cerebral blood flow that can be measured by transcranial Doppler ultrasound. This study used a cross-sectional design of preterm infants with respiratory distress and preterm infants without respiratoy distress treated according to inclusion and exclusion criteria at RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. All specimens underwent transcranial Doppler ult
