Abstract : Nursing services require an increase in the quality of health services and professionalism through work productivity. The phenomenon found is many nurses experience work fatigue because of several factors, such as inappropriate nutritional intake as well as lack of rest, which leads to the incidence of anemia. The impact of nutritional problems can cause decrease of work productivity, such as work fatigue and work capacity. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of nutritional status and hemoglobin levels on work productivity, through work fatigue as an intervening variable in nurses in hospitals. The research method used a cross-sectional study design. The research began in October 2022 at Regional General Hospital, Parepare. The samples used was 110 nurses using the accidental sampling technique. Nutritional status was obtained by examining the nurses' BMI through their height and weight, Hb levels were measured using HB Nesco Hemoglobin type NW-01, work fatigue was measured with the Reaction Speed application, and work productivity was measured by filling out a questionnaire. The results of multivariate tests with path analysis showed that there was a direct effect of nutritional status on work productivity (p<0.005), there was a direct effect of Hb levels on work productivity (p<0.005) and there was an effect of work fatigue on work productivity (p<0.005). The result showed that there was a direct and indirect effect of nutritional status and hemoglobin levels on work productivity through fatigue as an intervening variable. Future research is expected to examine other factors that can affect work productivity besides nutritional status and hemoglobin levels.
