Abstract :
Report submission to health care provider at the health center is still often late, which should be sent no later than the 5th of each month. The research objective is to analyze reporting system at the Public Health Center at the Gowa District Health Office based on input (human resources, infrastructure), process (officer knowledge, skills, abilities), and output (timeliness and completeness of data). This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using content analysis. This research interview was conducted with nine reporting informants, including eight officers from the health center section of the health care unit, and one employee from the Gowa District Health Office. Based on input, the number of human resources is sufficient and the necessary infrastructure facilities are laptops and networks. However, the availability of laptops is not provided by the Public Health Center. The process consists of officers already understanding the reporting system but training is not provided, and officers should have dual duties that hampered their main tasks in recording and reporting. Output includes late report submission and completeness. There is still a lack of reporting systems in the health care unit. The Gowa District Health Office should pay attention to some shortages in reporting system from input to output. It is better to provide a policy to solve those problems.
