Abstract :
Lipoma is a fatty tissue neoplasm that normally presents as slow-growing and painless swelling. It is a benign mesenchymal type of soft tissue tumor that is relatively uncommon in the head and neck region. Parotid deep lobe involvement is a much rare entity. Considering its rarity, we report a rare case of a intraparotid lipoma in a 59-year-old lady who presented to us with a right parotid slow-growing tumor. The diagnostic tool and surgical techniques are discussed.
