Effectiveness of educational program on Nutrition and Medications knowledge for patient undergoing open heart surgeries in the middle Euphrates governorate

Abstract : Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most widespread most prevalent significant health issue and the main reason of mortality worldwide. The condition may result in physical impairment and impose a substantial financial burden on afflicted persons and the national healthcare system. According to the World Health Organization, coronary artery disease was responsible for 15,3 million deaths (30% of all deaths) and 10.3% of the total disability adjusted life years (DALY) lost in 1998. The World Heal

Evaluation of Critical Thinking Educational Program Effectiveness on Nurses' Knowledge in Al-Hilla City

Abstract : Critical thinking (CT) is one of the fundamental characteristics of clinical nurses and is widely related with the provision of quality and safe care; yet, the concept of critical thinking presents significant challenges for researchers. Bloom's taxonomy has been utilized to measure critical thinking abilities. Similarly, clinical practice demands the development of all of Bloom's degrees of higher-order thinking skills. To evaluate nurses’ knowledge related to critical thinking concepts (post

Critical Thinking Competence Application and Analysis Issues among Nurses to Facilitate Patient Care

Prevalence of Smoking, Knowledge and Practice and Habits among Students of College of Medicine of AL-Qadisiyah university

Abstract : One of the biggest health issues facing modern civilization is smoking. Over 1.3 billion people are believed to smoke cigarettes today, which indicates that a third of adults over the age of 15 worldwide smoke. The prevalence of smoking is increasing in the developing world, although many countries track this trend poorly. Iraq has not seen many studies on smoking. To evaluate the prevalence of smoking, attitude and knowledge among medical student in Al-Qadisiyah university in Iraq. This cross-s

Analysis of SARS-COV2 Omicron strain in spike protein Iraqi isolates

Abstract : SARS-CoV-2, or severe acute respiratory syndrome has spread to every nation in the world. Global interest has been focused on finding a cure and creating an effective coronavirus vaccine as a result of the development of this new coronavirus. To analyse the genetics of the SARS-CoV2 Omicron variant in covid-19 patients and determine the primary clade that predominated in Iraq. Two patients of covid-19 were chosen to recognize Omicron strain and differentiate from Wuhan reference strain by using

Sequencing of Delta and Kappa Strain of SARS-CoV2 Spike Gene Among Iraqi Isolates

Abstract : The emergence of new coronavirus has attracted global attention to work towards finding a treatment and developing an effective vaccine against the virus. Spike protein of SARSCoV-2 mediates viral entry into host cells by binding ACE2 through the receptor binding domain (RBD). Was to highlight the sequencing of gene variants of spike for SARS-CoV2 virus in Iraqi isolates. A total 100 nasopharyngeal samples of COVID-19 were collected from period of July of 2021 to January 2022 in Al-diwanyah city

Correlation of Fluorescent Immunoassays Biosensor Antigen with RdRp and Envelope Genes RT-PCR of SARS-CoV-2

Abstract : Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was the gold standard confirmatory test for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which requires special facilities, and other reliable tests. The fluorescent immunoassay (FIA) biosensor antigen detects nucleoprotein SARS-CoV-2 viral in the early phase of acute infection, providing a cut-off index (COI) as a measure of the fluorescent signal. Both RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) and envelope (E) were specific ma

Features of the Study of the Relief Pattern of the Rat Colon Mucosa Using the Graphic Reconstruction Method

Abstract : The paper was aimed at the study of the relief pattern of the albino rat colon mucosa using the graphic reconstruction method, which is the necessary prerequisite for planning and conducting specific experimental studies. 10 albino rats weighted 200,0±20,0 g were involved into the study. The specimens of albino rat colon, fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin solution, have been studied. Conventional anatomical preparation was carried out aimed at dissecting those organs or individual formatio
