THE INFLUENCE OF PROVIDING ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION ON IMPROVING CONSCIENCE AND MOTIVATING ACTION IN WAJO DISTRICT LEPTOSPIROSIS PREVENTION ACTIVITIES

Abstract : Leptospirosis, which is caused by Leptospira sp., is a zoonotic bacterial disease that is important for human and animal health, spreads globally and has the potential to become an epidemic that occurs mainly in countries with tropical climates and high rainfall. In Indonesia, the incidence of leptospirosis is quite high compared to cases of leptospirosis fatality rates range from 2.5 to 16.45%. A Rare Case of Intraparotid Giant Lipoma

Abstract : Lipoma is a fatty tissue neoplasm that normally presents as slow-growing and painless swelling. It is a benign mesenchymal type of soft tissue tumor that is relatively uncommon in the head and neck region. Parotid deep lobe involvement is a much rare entity. Considering its rarity, we report a rare case of a intraparotid lipoma in a 59-year-old lady who presented to us with a right parotid slow-growing tumor. The diagnostic tool and surgical techniques are discussed.

Attitudes of Kurdish Women toward Menopause: A Cross-Sectional Study in Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Abstract : This study aimed to examine the attitudes of Kurdish women toward menopause and find out its association with menopausal status and sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics. Direct interviews were done with 912 women in perimenopause/menopause through non-probability convenient sampling from October 2020 to September 2021, aged 30 to 60 years.
