A rare case of thrombocytopenia in child with iron deficiency anemia

Abstract : Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is usually associated with thrombocytosis. However, there are few reported cases of IDA with thrombocytopenia. We presented a 10-year-old Saudi girl presented with generalized fatigue, bruises in her body, found to have anemia and thrombocytopenia.
