Impact of active Oxygen-Based Oral Gel on Healing After Immediate Implant Placement with Custom-Made Healing Abutment: (A Randomized Controlled Study)

Abstract : Immediate implant placement in mandibular molars remains surgically challenging because of wide extraction sockets, possible residual infection, and early soft-tissue instability. Optimizing postoperative healing and minimizing inflammation are essential for long-term implant success. Active oxygen–based oral gels such as Blue®m possess antimicrobial and tissue-regenerative properties; however, their clinical effect following immediate molar implant placement has not been fully established. Association of Body Image Disturbance and Self-Esteem in Patients with Visible Dermatological Disorders: A Multicenter Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract : Visible dermatological conditions can substantially affect psychological well-being, particularly body image and self-esteem. Despite increasing interest in psychodermatology, the mechanisms underlying these associations remain insufficiently understood. This study aimed to examine the relationship between body image disturbance and self-esteem in patients with visible skin disorders and to investigate whether body image disturbance mediates the relationship between disease-related burden and se

The role of vitamin D in female reproductive health - a literature review.

Abstract : Vitamin D, traditionally associated with the regulation of calcium–phosphate homeostasis, also plays a key role in women’s reproductive health. The presence of the vitamin D receptor (VDR) and its metabolic enzymes in the ovaries, endometrium, and placenta indicates its direct involvement in folliculogenesis, steroidogenesis, embryo implantation, and the maintenance of pregnancy. Evidence suggests that vitamin D deficiency may be linked to ovulatory disorders, menstrual irregularities, and r

The impact of therapeutic hypothermia in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy: a narrative review.

Abstract : Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) remains a primary cause of permanent neurological deficits in neonates. Therapeutic hypothermia (TH) is currently the only intervention with proven neuroprotective efficacy, and the aim of this study is to analyze its impact on the clinical prognosis of patients. Based on a literature review, it has been demonstrated that the implementation of a cooling protocol (33.5°C for 72 hours) within the first 6 hours of life reduces the risk of death and disability

Lifestyle Medicine in Modern Healthcare: Evidence-Based Prevention Strategies for Chronic Diseases

Abstract : Lifestyle medicine focuses on evidence-based lifestyle interventions as a cornerstone in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. With the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases in the world, the approach to healthcare has changed from treatment to prevention. Integrating lifestyle interventions into routine clinical practice may significantly reduce disease burden, improve population health outcomes, and enhance the sustainability of healthcare systems.
