Exploration of Drug Resident Experience in Conducting Virtual Reality Spiritual Freedom Technique (VR-SEFT) Therapy at Makassar Class 1 State Prison

Abstract : Drug resident who experiences anxiety problems and mental unrest as a result of signs and symptoms arising from drug abuse. This condition is the background of drug residents seeking calm and social and spiritual support. And one form of therapy that includes this to help residents is to do Virtual Reality Spiritual Freedom Technique (VR-SEFT) therapy. Explore the experience of drug residents before rehabilitation and after receiving Virtual Reality Spiritual Freedom Technique (VR-SEFT) therapy.

The differences of growth and development in children with cyanotic congenital heart disease beforeand after transcatheter closure

Abstract : The survival of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) has increased drastically in the last few decades. However, in children with the acyanotic type of CHD, it is often accompanied by symptoms of failure to thrive. This condition is also associated with impaired psychomotor and cognitive development, with negative effects on psychosocial and academic performance and quality of life. This study aims to assess the differences in growth and development of acyanotic CHD children before and a

Effect of Lumbricus rubellus Extract on FOXP3, Interleukin-5 and Bacteria Inhibitory on the Skin of Atopic Dermatitis

Abstract : This study aims to investigate the effect of Lumbricus rubellus extract on serum FOXP3, Interleukin-5 (IL-5) levels, and Bacterial Inhibitory in Atopic Dermatitis patients. A true experimental study with pre-test and post-test procedures and a control group design was conducted. A combination of Lumbricus rubellus capsule extract was given orally to the treatment group and examined by ELISA to determine levels of FOXP3 and Interleukin-5 on day 0, day 14, and day 30. The control and intervention

PRODUCTION AND SCREENING OF PROTEIN HYDROLYZATES FROM POKEA SHELLS (Batissa Violaceae Celebencis Marten 1897) ENDEMIC TO KONAWE, SOUTHEAST SULAWESI PROVINCE

Abstract : Protein hydrolyzate is the result of enzymatic or chemical hydrolysis of proteins containing lower molecular weight peptides and free amino acids. Making protein hydrolyzate is an effort to increase protein sources rich in amino acids. The general objective of this study was to utilize Pokea shells (Batissa violaceae celebencis Marten, 1897) from Pohara Village, Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi Province, as an enzymatic protein hydrolyzate product that can be provided in nutraceutical form. This study

Comparison and Evaluation of the Accuracy of Apical Sealing Between Different Retrograde Root Filling materials – In Vitro Study -

Abstract : The choice of the retrograde filling material with desirable qualities is essential for the success of periapical surgical therapy, including biological acceptability, good sealing ability, non-toxicity, periapical tissue healing, ease of application, dimensional stability, and resistance to moisture. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of apical sealing using BC-RRM (sealer + putty), and Biodentine after apicectomy. Thirty single-rooted extracted human teeth with single ca

The effect of Injectable Platelet-rich Fibrin (I-PRF) on Peri-implant Soft Tissue Healing Following a Tuberosity Connective Tissue Graft Procedure: A Randomized Clinical Trail

Abstract : The positive effect of blood concentrates on the healing of soft and hard tissues in periodontal and peri-implant surgeries has been proven. The growth factors contained in blood concentrates are the source of these positive properties. Injectable platelet-rich fibrin (I-PRF) is one of the recent generations of these extracts and its clinical form helps to be added to soft tissue grafts. I-PRF releases growth factors during the healing of these grafts. Therefore, our study aimed to evaluate the

How Effective is the Early Warning Stunting Model on Family Knowledge, Support and Attitudes in Stunting Prevention: a Pilot Study

Abstract : Stunting is a nutritional problem that can be dangerous for babies because it can cause emotional, social, and cognitive development problems in adulthood. Multidimensional factors cause stunting, so prevention does not only focus on nutritional status. This study aims to test the early warning model for increasing family knowledge, support, and attitudes to prevent stunting. The method was a pilot study with one pretest and a posttest treatment group. The sample for this study was 90 families w

IT UTILIZATION IN MONITORING OHS IMPLEMENTATION IN INDONESIAN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Abstract : The Covid-19 pandemic caused a downturn in the industrial sectors in Indonesia, including the construction sector, forcing all stakeholders to work together to stop the spread of the pandemic while maintaining business continuity amid Indonesia's massive infrastructure development. The pandemic has also limited monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of OHS procedures in construction projects due to pandemic-related limitations. Therefore, digital technology should be enforced to support

An In-Vitro Evaluation of Enamel Remineralization potential of BioMin toothpaste in primary teeth

Abstract : This study aimed to evaluate the remineralization potential BioMin-F compared to a commonly used standard toothpaste (Signal®) in primary teeth. Thirteen enamel blocks of primary canines were divided randomly into two groups: Group 1 (n = 15; Experimental), BioMin-F toothpaste group, and Group 2: (n = 15; Control), Signal toothpaste. The samples were initially evaluated for baseline surface microhardness; later on, these samples were placed in the demineralizing solution for 69 h, and post-dem

Contemporary Insights into Coronary Chronic Total Occlusions: Clinical, Echocardiographic, Angiographic profile and Management Perspectives from a Tertiary Care Institute in Western India

Abstract : Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a primary contributor to cardiovascular disease burden, with India having about 29.8 million CAD cases in a population of 1.03 billion, a 3% prevalence. Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) poses challenges for cardiologists due to complexities, leading to lower success rates compared to non-occluded artery procedures. This prospective observational study aimed to analyze the clinical, risk factors, and echocardiographic profiles of patients with coronary chronic total
